The challenge: Make it easy at the right moment

Someone recording a first-aid incident at work needs an understandable starting point. An openly accessible paper list makes confidential handling of entries difficult. Verbandbuch.org is our own project for this specific workflow: a web application with mobile reporting and protected administration.

The project connects a public website, an interface and the work that follows a report. The website explains the task and leads to the application. There, the different needs of reporting employees and responsible staff shape the workflow. The project is part of our own product portfolio.

The structure: QR code, record, responsible person

A location QR code opens a reporting form. Employees can submit a new record without needing a user account. This does not give them public access to existing records. Authorised roles and assigned location areas govern administration.

That distinction is central to the design: reporting should be straightforward, while access to stored information should be specific. Locations and responsibilities can be represented across a business. Introducing the application therefore also requires agreement on who reviews entries and handles any subsequent action.

What can happen after a report

The application connects records with analysis, export and action management. Responsible staff can review information using the available criteria and investigate recurring patterns. Incident and near-miss records can then become starting points for further workplace assessment.

For multilingual QR reports, the product also offers AI-assisted translation of selected text fields. Its public feature description explains the limited data transfer and review of the original alongside the translation. AI serves a bounded language task here; it does not decide what happened or which protective action is required.

What the project shows about your website

A useful digital experience considers what happens after someone presses a button. In Verbandbuch.org, that means reporting, assigned review and later analysis. In your business, it might mean an enquiry, an order or an internal request.

We plan these steps together so that users have a simple starting point and your team can act on the resulting information. The current functionality is described publicly at Verbandbuch.org. For your own project, we connect web design with appropriate tool integrations, based on the responsibilities and systems your business actually uses.
